Atlantica Online
Atlantica online is a very popular MMORPG that has a lot to offer gamers of all skill levels. You’ll start the game by creating a character and picking out the weapon that you want to use. Weapons include cannons, swords, bows, axes, guns, pole arms and staffs. There will be a short but very informative tutorial that will explain important features of the game to you. From here you’ll be sent into your first and only real quest.
As a descendant of the proud but greedy race of Atlantians, you’ll be on a mission to find the “lost city of Atlantis”. In order to do this you’ll have to fight your way through ancient Earth in order to accomplish your goal. When battling you will have a turn and then your enemy gets a turn. When playing PvE you’ll have to kill all of the enemies in order to win. However, when playing PvP you only need to defeat the main character to win.
Now, the first thing that you might think is that taking turns in battle sound a little boring. Well, if that were all it was to it then it probably would be. Fortunately, the game is spiced up considerably when you add in the mercenaries with countless possibilities. You’ll have control over nine other characters (mercenaries) and they each have their own special skills and styles that you can put to use.
Plus, they’ll level up like your main character and they can evolve when the Ashen Crystals are used. Your first two mercenaries will be chosen during the tutorial and you’ll recruit the rest as you go through the game each time you advance ten levels.
The virtual world of Atlantica Online is beautiful with excellent graphics and it’s huge. When you need an item or potion you’ll have to buy it or make it yourself. This may seem a bit odd to some players especially if you’re use to NPC’s but it can make the game even more fun and interesting.
Atlantica Online is a fascinating game with so much to offer its players that it would be difficult to try and discuss them all. It’s fun, entertaining, challenging and rewarding, which are all of the things that you look for in a MMORPG.

RF Online
RF Online MMORPG game was originally named Rising Force and it was developed by CCR. It was first released in South Korea as a fighting MMORPG with Sci-Fi qualities mixed with classic fantasy. There is a tutorial that describes the back-story so you’ll have an idea of what’s going on before starting. RF Online takes place in the Novus system on a distant planet where magic and high technology exists together.
The game is divided into three factions that constantly battle for control over the mines throughout the Novus Galaxies. The three fractions are called Accretia, Cora and Bellato. The Accretia are the strongest of the three because they are a robot race. The Cora could be considered a mystical, elf-like nation that is spiritually powerful and who has control over the five elements.
The Bellato race is the smallest of the three due to the intense gravity found on their home planet but they make up for size with their cunning and wit. They may be the weakest race physically but their engineering skills and high intelligence provide them with the ability to be the strongest in the end.
In this Sci-Fi 3D fighting game you’ll find that technology such as mecha and nuclear weapons along with “RvRvRv” are emphasized the most. RvRvRv stands for three-way Race vs Race vs Race. Expect to do a lot of power leveling especially at first in this game. After grinding your way through the lower levels you’ll get into the core of the game when you reach level 30. You can start PvP combat at level 25 but you won’t have the weapons needed to accomplish much until you reach level 30.
You can join a guild for the social interaction but a lot of your time will be spent mining for ore and questing PvE style making it more of a personal experience. This is because you can gain experience points and level up faster on your own than you can with a group. Some of the more experienced gamers may find RF Online to be a little monotonous for this reason but newer players or ones who enjoy playing alone most of the time should thoroughly enjoy it.
This MMORPG does provide a unique gameplay with a choice between the keyboard control and the mouse character control. RF Online would be an excellent game for players who enjoy logging on to do battle without the in-depth storylines to keep up with like so many games of this nature require.
